Old Colony Living began with a single long-term rental and absolutely no idea of the adventure it would grow into. What started as a simple investment quickly became a passion—one that blended our love of hospitality, renovation, and creating spaces that feel like home.

As we spent more time traveling between states to visit family, we realized how much energy (and money!) those trips required. That was the spark that led us into the short-term rental world—and the beginning of our dream to eventually become snowbirds. We wanted the flexibility to enjoy both the Maine woods and the warm Carolina coast… so we built a business that lets us do exactly that.

Over the years, we’ve fallen in love with learning every side of both short-term and long-term rental management. Together, we make a great team:

• Jeff handles the hands-on work—repairs, improvements, upgrades, and all the behind-the-scenes tasks that keep our properties running smoothly.
   
• Lizz leads communication, guest experience, design, branding, and all things Airbnb and website—bringing consistency, comfort, and hospitality into every stay.
   

Old Colony Living has become more than a business to us. It’s a way to share our homes, our style, and our story with travelers and residents in Maine and Myrtle Beach. Whether someone is staying for a weekend or a year, our goal is the same: to create spaces that feel welcoming, cared for, and thoughtfully designed.
